Mike was born and raised in Nutley, New Jersey. Unlike many actors, he didn't always dream of being one as a child. Instead, acting was something that caught him completely by surprise while attending college at San Diego State University. What started out simply as a curiosity by taking a few acting classes and auditioning, soon blossomed into a life-long passion after he was cast in a few university productions. As a result, he decided to achieve a B.A. in Acting. As he neared graduation, he was still unsure as to whether or not he wanted to pursue acting professionally but that question was answered in his last semester of college. During his final days at SDSU, he had the unique opportunity to portray "Leonardo" in Frederico Garcia Lorca's, "Blood Wedding", in the presence of legendary playwright, Edward Albee. Any doubts about what he wanted to do with his life were soon diminished when he met Mr. Albee afterward and received positive feedback from him. "Thank you Mr. Albee!!!! That day changed my life forever!"Although he grew up seven miles from New York City, Mike decided to pursue acting professionally in Los Angeles. Before heading to LA, he decided to "get his feet wet" by spending some time in San Diego upon graduation doing local theatre, independent films, and some regional commercials.Mike has worked professionally in all areas of the acting community since he graduated. He has held numerous roles in film, television, and theatre and has appeared in several National, Foreign, and Regional commercials. He has also worked professionally in Commercial Print, Industrials, Internet Series, and occasionally does some "open-mic" nights for fun. And whenever the opportunity presents itself, he loves to come home to NY to work or study.
